Exfoliation

Proper exfoliation is essential for beautiful, glowing skin. It helps remove the dead skin cells that can lead to a dull complexion and give you a radiant, youthful appearance. But with so many different types of exfoliants available, it can be hard to decide which one is best for you.

When it comes to choosing an exfoliant, look for products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs). These acids help dissolve the “glue” between your skin cells, allowing them to be swept away more easily. AHAs are best for gently sloughing away dead skin cells and helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while BHAs can penetrate deeper into the skin, making them better for those with acne-prone skin.

It's also important to note that exfoliating too often can lead to irritation and dryness, so start slowly and increase the frequency as your skin adjusts. Make sure to follow up with a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid to lock in hydration and protect your skin barrier. With this simple 3-step routine, you'll be on your way to achieving beautiful, healthy skin!

Masking

We all want to have glowing, beautiful skin, but sometimes it can seem like a never-ending battle to achieve it. Fortunately, with the right skin care routine, you can get your skin looking healthy and radiant in no time. One of the best steps you can take in your skin care journey is masking.

For those with dry or sensitive skin, a hydrating sheet mask is a great option. It helps to boost hydration levels and lock in moisture for a healthy-looking complexion. For combination or oily skin, clay masks are ideal for controlling shine and absorbing excess sebum. Lastly, if you're looking for something a bit more intense, consider a facial peel. Facial peels help to slough off dead skin cells and reveal brighter, smoother skin beneath.

No matter what type of mask you choose, the key is to be consistent with your application. Make sure to follow the directions on the packaging and apply the product in even strokes on the face and neck area. Leave the mask on for the recommended amount of time before rinsing off with lukewarm water. You'll instantly notice that your skin looks and feels better after just one use! If you find that your results aren't lasting as long as you would hope, reapplying a face mask once per week should do the trick.

Moisturizing

Having a regular skin care routine is essential for keeping your skin looking its best. Moisturizing is one of the most important steps in your routine, and you should make sure to do it at least twice a day. Applying a moisturizer helps to keep your skin hydrated and healthy, while also helping to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. When choosing a moisturizer, it's important to pick one that works with your skin type; if you have oily skin, look for an oil-free formula, and if you have dry skin, look for a thicker, creamier formula. Make sure to use a generous amount and massage it into your face and neck in gentle circular motions. Be sure not to forget the areas around your eyes as they are typically more sensitive than other areas of your face. Apply eye cream after this step! Exfoliating: Be sure to exfoliate at least once per week or so because it removes dead skin cells and any buildup on the surface. By removing this buildup, products can better penetrate deeper into your skin where they need to go. It will also help diminish any acne scars or dark spots on your skin over time because new layers of fresh cells will be revealed. The key here is consistency - don't skip out on this step just because you're feeling lazy!
